Tyre crumbing Process

  1. Mechanical Shredding
Scrap tyres are fed into heavy-duty shredders that break them down into smaller, manageable rubber chips.

  2. Cryogenic Grinding
The rubber chips are frozen using liquid nitrogen, making them brittle and easy to grind into ultra-fine powder without degrading quality.

  3. Devulcanization
Through chemical or thermal processes, the rubber’s cross-linked structure is broken down, allowing it to be reused in new rubber-based products.
    Benefits of Tyre Crumbling

  • Waste Reduction
Significantly decreases landfill burden by recycling tyres that would otherwise take hundreds of years to decompose.

  • Resource Conservation
Conserves natural rubber, petroleum-based products, and steel by reusing the materials embedded in tyres.

  • Energy Efficiency
Crumbling and reusing rubber often consume less energy compared to the production of virgin rubber compounds.
